How practice works

The same four steps, every scenario.

Explanations stay short, so most of your time goes on the task itself — and on checking what happened.

  1. 01

    Understand the workflow

Short lessons and role guides explain what happens, who does it and why it matters.

  2. 02

    Use prepared data

Synthetic market profiles, counterparties and limits are ready — nothing to set up.

  3. 03

    Complete the task

Capture, submit and approve trades while the pre-trade controls respond.

  4. 04

    Inspect the outcome

Trace the result through positions, checks and the audit trail. Reset. Repeat.

The workflow

Capture. Check. Approve. Settle.

Follow a trade through its workflow and see each step from the role that owns it. Explore scenarios covering power, gas, oil, LNG and derivatives. See the simulator’s scope.

  1. Capture

Enter a trade on the ticket: direction, counterparty, product, volume and price.

In the app: Trade ticket with live preview

  2. Check

Pre-trade controls run automatically and explain any failure.

In the app: Credit, limits, price band, agreements

  3. Approve

An approver reviews the trade and approves or rejects it. Then it's executed and confirmed.

In the app: Approval queue and confirmations

  4. Settle

Delivery is measured, invoiced and paid, and the day is closed.

In the app: Invoices, payments and daily close

    Follow the workflow

The proposals list and the Guide show where the trade is and what comes next: approval, then execution.

  7. 0:36

    Back to your desk

Recent activity on Home records the submitted proposal.
